Quick update to Crockett Meet Results

  • If you looked over the meet results and were wondering why there were 8/under Freestyle Relay results, those were obviously not supposed to be there as they did not race.  The event was inadvertently not deleted and then some fake times populated the event. 
  • Coach Mariska will delete these fake times so that they do not affect the swimmers.

 

Last Battle Update

  • Alright team, it is go time!!!! For those of you who have never been to a big invitational before, they are so fun.  So long but so fun!!!!  We will definitely get some PR's this weekend!!!  Below, I will re-link the important PDF's so that you have it all handily available.
  • Volunteer Jobs: Make sure to check in with Jill Magno or Jennifer Smith when you get to Battle.  Just confirm that you are there and that you know when and where your shift is.  Here is the volunteer schedule.
  • Team Camp:  Here is the map of the campus with our team camp.
  • Snack Shack:  Here is the snack shack menu.
  • Schedule for the Weekend
    • ​Warmups
      • ​Lane 11 both days
      • Saturday
        • ​7:15-7:30:   11 and up
        • 7:45-8:00:  9-12
        • 8:15-8:30: 8 and under
      • Sunday
        • 7:45-8:00:  11 and up
        • 8:15-8:30: 9-12
        • No 8 and unders warmups on Sunday since they do not start until later in the morning
    • Meet Starts 9:00am
    • Saturday events:  Mixed distance free, breast and fly
    • Sunday Events:  9-14 IM, back, free
    • Meet ends ~ 4:00pm
  • Silent Auction: There is a silent auction if you want to bid!!!  ​
  • Clerk of the Course:  If your swimmer has never swum at a big meet before, the check-in process is a little different.  Swimmers must check in at Clerk of the Course about 15-20 minutes before their swim.   Listen to the announcements and/or follow their twitter feed @phdolfins as they will call the swimmers by age group.  Once checked in at Clerk, the swimmers will be lined up in chairs that correspond to their event, heat, and lane.  The volunteers in Clerk will tell the swimmers when to go on to the pool deck.  They will help guide the Littles to the appropriate lane.  Parents can not go into Clerk.  
  • Programs will be for sale at Battle Headquarters for $10.
  • Results will be posted on the wall near the Vendor Faire and also available on Meet Mobile (you can download the Meet Mobile app for a nominal fee to have quick digital access to all results).
