What is Battle of the Ages?
- Battle of the Ages swim meet is a premier invitational hosted by the Pleasant Hill Dolfins. Swimmers compete head-to-head against others their exact age in a battle for the fastest times. Five-year-olds race five-year-olds, six-year-olds compete against six-year-olds, and so on, creating exciting, age-specific competition for every swimmer!
Date
- Saturday, June 27th - Sunday, June 28th, 2026
- Meet starts at 9:00 am both days and ends at approximately 4:00 pm

- College Park High School, 201 Viking Drive, Pleasant Hill
Entry Fees
- $ 35 per swimmer
- This is a flat fee per swimmer, and each swimmer may select a maximum of 4 events to participate in over the two days
- PLUS $8 per adult volunteer in your family for a background check (more information below)
Registration: Deadline to register is Wednesday, June 10th! No late adds will be accepted
- Register through Zeffy. Fill out one form per swimmer. If you have two swimmers, fill out and pay for each swimmer individually.
- Registration deadline: Wednesday, June 10th. Late registrations cannot be accepted
- Volunteer Background Check Fee: Only pay the $8 volunteer background check for your first swimmer, and make sure this is the adult who will be volunteering on deck at Battle. If you do not know who will be volunteering, or you plan to split the job with a family member, you must both submit for a confidential background check. Do not add a background fee to your cart for athletes beyond your first swimmer.
Volunteer Assignments
- ALL families will be assigned a volunteer shift. The job assignment will be emailed to you closer to the event date. You do not pick your job or shift for invitationals. We assign the jobs as we need them filled. This job does not count towards your required 4 meet volunteer jobs for regular meets.
- EVERY adult who volunteers MUST pass a background check (you must repeat the background check this year, even if you were checked for last year's Battle or were recently checked through a different organization). This is dictated by the insurance that Pleasant Hill requires for this meet; this is not because of a Stingray requirement or issue.
- Details on the background check will be emailed to Battle Families shortly.
- If you elect to not participate in the background check so that you can not volunteer, fail the background check so that you can not volunteer, or no show on your assigned volunteer shift, the credit card on file will be billed $150.

TEAM AREAS AND SET UP
- Every participating team is assigned a team area in the school hallways. Please represent our team well, clean up after yourself, and remove all garbage before leaving each day.
- We are on a school campus. Pets, alcohol, and controlled substances are not permitted.
- Teams may begin set up from 5:00 pm on Friday. Battle of the Ages does not accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items left overnight.
Programs
- Hard copies were $10 last year and they did sell out. They had digital programs also available for sale when hard copies sold out. We have not been given info for programs this year.
Warm Ups
- 7:45-8:45 both days.
- Lane 10 is for warmup and cooldowns for 13-18 year old swimmers only for the duration of the day.

Saturday
- 15-18: 50 free half distance, 100 breast, 100 fly
- 9-14: 100 free double distance, 50 breast, 50 fly
- 7-8: 50 free double distance, 25 breast, 25 fly
- 5-6: 25 breast, 25 fly
Sunday
- 15-18: 100IM, 100 Back, 100 Free
- 9-14: 100IM, 50 back, 50 free
- 7-8: 25 back and 25 free
- 5-6: 25 back and 25 free
CLERK OF THE COURSE: All swimmers must check-in at Clerk of the Course before their race. The area in Clerk of the Course and immediately around the pool is a secure area – only competing swimmers, coaches, and officials will be allowed in this area.
COMMUNICATIONS: Results will be posted on a wall near the pool. They will also be posted on Meet Mobile. For up-to-the-minute announcements and calls to the clerk of the course, follow on Twitter/X @phdolfins.
