Registration for Spring/Summer 2027 opens on February 1, 2027!!!  We are a competitive swim team and we do expect that registered swimmers participate in swim meets.  All swimmers, including 6/unders should be comfortable putting their face in the water, floating on their front and back unassisted, and safely swimming 25 yards independently.  

The Stingrays are a non-profit (FEIN # 68-0361013), recreational, Summer swim team located in Benicia, California. Practices and Home Meets are held at the James Lemos Pool, 181 East J Street, Benicia, CA 94510.  We are a member of the Tri-County Swim League and we follow the rules set in place by the County Committee, which oversees the County Championship Swim Meet.    

Spending the summer on a swim team is a great way to make new friends, improve swim strokes, and have fun competing against other swim teams. Our season runs April through July. Membership is open to all families and is not limited to the Benicia area.
