Registration for Spring/Summer 2025 will open on February 1, 2025 for returning families and February 16, 2025 for new families. We are a competitve swim team so we do expect that registered swimmers participate in swim meets. All swimmers, including 6/unders should be comfortable putting their face in the water, floating on their front and back unassisted, and safely swimming at least 1/2 the length of the pool (12.5 yards) on their own.
The Stingrays are a recreational Summer swim team located in Benicia, California. Practices and Home Meets are held at the James Lemos Pool, 181 East J Street, Benicia, CA 94510. We are a member of the Tri-County Swim League and we follow the rules set in place by the County Committee, which oversees the County Championship Swim Meet.
Spending the summer on a swim team is a great way to make new friends, improve swim strokes, and have fun competing against other swim teams. Our season runs April through July. Membership is open to all families and is not limited to the Benicia area.
Train hard, swim fast, cheer loud, have fun! Go Stingrays!
