2026 Benicia Stingrays' Fall Swim Program

 

Registration

  • Early Bird Registration
    • Opens Monday,  July 20th and Closes Sunday, July 26th
    • $250 per swimmer
    • Open to returning Stingrays only
  • Regular Registration
    • Opens Monday, July 27th
    • $300 per swimmer
    • Open to returning Stingrays and the general public

 

The fall swim program is designed to further the development of stroke and turn techniques and conditioning. 

In each practice, there will be a balance of teaching and conditioning to help support your swimmer's needs.

Dates and Times

  • Dates:  Tuesday September 1st - Thursday, October 22nd
  • 6 & unders: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 4:30-5:15
    •  Limited to 20 swimmers
  • 7-10 year olds:  Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 4:30-5:30
  • 11 & ups:  Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 5:30-6:30
    • Swimmers who will swim with the 11/12 group in the 2027 season (those who swam as 10 year olds this summer season) will practice with the 11 and up group during Fall swim.
  • During the last week of Fall Swim, the pool will close at 6:00 pm.  Adjustments will be made to our practice schedule to accommodate the early pool closure.  

 

Monster Splash Invitational Date:  Sunday, October 25th.  Save the date!!! 

Fall Swim culminates in the Monster Splash Invitational, which the Benicia Stingrays host at James Lemos Pool!  This is a fun Halloween-themed meet with fun prizes and the best medals around!  

Monster Splash registration fees are included in the cost of Fall Swim registration for all Stingrays!  

 

 

Swim Requirements

  • We have limited junior coach availability during Fall Swim.  As such, we have firm skill requirements for all participants.
  • All 8 and under swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke unassisted.  We will not have junior coaches in the water to offer the one-on-one assistance that they are given during the regular swim season.
  • All swimmers 10 and up must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle and backstroke, as well as 25 yards of breaststroke or butterfly. 
  • Tryouts for all NEW 10/under swimmers will occur shortly before the start of Fall Swim.  If you have a new 10/under, register them for Fall Swim to reserve their spot and then plan on attending tryouts (date TBD).

 

 

Registration Refund Policy and 10/under Tryouts

  • ​​​​​​​​There will be no refunds once you are registered and paid.  The one exception is if you register your 10 and under swimmer, attend tryouts, and the coaches say they are not ready for Fall Swim, we will refund your fees minus the $25 credit card processing fee that we must pass on to you. If your 10-and-under swimmer does not attend tryouts and they can not keep up in practice, there are no refunds.  Make sure to attend tryouts to avoid this situation! 
  • There are no other refunds including, but not limited to: pool closures due to poor air quality from fires, pandemic related issues, natural disasters, change in family plans, too much homework, practice is too difficult, etc.  We have fixed expenses we must cover and can not offer refunds for any reason.
