Benicia Stingrays

Theme

  • ​Argh Matey, it's a pirate theme!  Come dressed up!  

Gates Open:  8:15 AM 

  • Unless you are part of the setup crew, do not enter through the side gate.  Line up at the front door and enter at 8:15.  The setup crew needs time and space to set up, so please do not enter early and get in their way. 
  • Setup crew, arrive at 7:30 and enter through the side gate in the parking lot.

Team Camps

  • ​​We have many teams and limited space.  Please share tents. See the map for the suggested team setup area.  We know not all teams will fit in the designated spaces.  You may also set up on the pool deck, but leave the area marked red open for fire access.  Leave walkways open.

Warm Ups:  8:30-9:30

 

 

Warm-Up and Cool-down Lane

  • 12/up swimmers may use the ocean lane (just past lane 8) for warm-ups and cool-downs.  

Volunteers

  • ​​Setup:  Enter through the side gate in the parking lot at 7:30 AM.  Check in with the volunteer coordinators and find meet director Kim Kemp for direction.
  • All other volunteers: Check in at the volunteer check-in table as soon as you arrive at the meet at 8:15 AM.

  • ​​BMS Band performs at 9:35 AM

Time Drops Live

  • Make sure you have downloaded the Time Drops app to keep track of your swimmer's times!

Duck Races

  • Ducks cost $10 each.  
  • Race occurs mid-meet
  • Winning duck takes home 50% of the pot!  
  • If all ducks sell, you will win over $400!!!

Pumpkin Decorating

  • ​Decorate a pumpkin for $10!
  • Get a treat with purchase!!  ​

Costume Contest and Mixed Relay

  • ​We will end the day with a costume contest (top 3 get prizes!!) and the mixed relays!   

Awards

  • Don't forget to swing by the awards table at the end of the meet to pick up any awards your swimmer won during the meet! 

​Merchandise

  • Pick up your pre-ordered merch at (or near) the snack bar table.  
  • We will have a very limited number of shirts (no sweatshirts or hoodies) for sale if you forgot to order one.​

Food: 

  • ​​Jamba Juice will be selling smoothies and bowls!  Pre-order your Jamba Juice upon arrival at the pool until 9:00 AM.  The Jamba Juice tent will be near the snack bar.  Pre-ordered items will be delivered back to the pool at 10:30 AM.  If you miss pre-order, Jamba Juice will have limited items available for sale at the meet.  Please support our local Jamba Juice!  A portion of every purchase goes to the Stingrays, and Jamba Juice Benicia has been so generous with their time and money this entire season for us!  
  • If you print this image, you can fill out your order form in advance so you just need to drop it off and pay at the meet.
  • Jamba Juice is also selling BOGO cards--they have SIX BOGO coupons on the card!  That's a great deal!
