Registration, Volunteer Job Sign Ups; Junior Coach Applications; One More Lap
Hello Stingray Families!
Registration Opens Wednesday, February 1st
We are happy to announce that Early Bird Registration opens tomorrow (Wednesday, February 1st). Please register early to reserve your swimmer's spot on the team and to get the Early Bird discount! You can click here to register or access the registration tab via the front page of the team website.
Volunteer Job Signups
- There has been a slight change to the timing for Volunteer Job Signups. Signups will open on March 1st.
- Your registration must be confirmed prior to you being able to sign up for your volunteer jobs.
- We have tentatively set the family meet volunteer requirement at 4 meets; this is subject to change pending the number of families we have signed up for swim team. If you serve as a Core Volunteer or Board Member, have bought out of your volunteer requirements during registration, or ONLY have 15 and older swimmers, you do not need to sign up to volunteer at dual meets or social events (you will still have a volunteer requirement at any Invitational or League Meet that your swimmer attends). There will also likely be a volunteer requirement of 2 social event jobs per family (in addition to the 4 meet volunteer jobs). All of the parent volunteer requirements are available under the volunteer tab on the front page and instructions for how to sign of for volunteer jobs (after March 1st) are listed under that section as well.
Junior Coach Applications
If your 13 and older swimmer is interested in serving as a junior coach, please have them fill out this Google Form Junior Coach Application by February 24th. Once all applications have been reviewed, there will be short interviews scheduled with a few board members and coach(es) in late February/early March.
Assistant Coach Applications
We are in the process of finalizing applications for an additional assistant coach to help out Coach Mariska and Coach Miguel. If you know of any potential applicants with a strong swim background, please refer them our way. Here is the link to the Google Form Assistant Coach Application .
Swim Gear Donations--One More Lap Program
As in years past, 16 year old Stingray, Justin Magno, will collect any outgrown fins, parkas, team suits, etc (good condition only please) and add them to his One More Lap sign up genius to re-distribute for free to any Stingray swimmer who signs up. Last year, he recycled over 50 swim gear items for the team. Please email him at justin.magno321@gmail.com if you have any items your swimmer has outgrown and you would like to donate. He can pick them up from your porch if you have items to donate to his stock. The link to the sign up genius will be sent out once he has organized the donated items. He would like to have items to distribute before the first practice starts so if you would like to clean out your closets, now is your chance to do so!
