Welcome Back Pool Party

  • This is the last reminder for our pool party on Sunday, April 30th from 11am to 1pm.  If you have not yet RSVP'd and plan to attend the party, please RSVP here on our sign up genius.
  • Here is the sign up genius to donate drinks/supplies/etc as well.   Any extras will just be carried over to our next social event.
  • Raffle:  Don't forget we will be drawing two winners for our Pool Day Raffle Prizes.  Cash is easiest, but we also accept Pay Pal and Zelle for you to purchase additional raffle tickets at the party....$10 each or 6 for $50!  
  • One More Lap:  If you have outgrown swim gear (fins, parkas, team suits), Justin Magno will collect them to re-distribute back to the team through his One More Lap Program.  Here is his signup genius link with available gear (it's pretty sparse right now but hopefully it can be built back up with new donations!)

 

New Family Zoom Meeting

  • New Families, please don't forget that we have a new family zoom planned for Tuesday, May 2nd at 7:00pm.  
  • This is your chance to learn how to sign up for meets, how to sign up for volunteer jobs, learn the difference between a dual meet and an invitational meet (they are very different and have different registration processes), etc etc etc.
  • The link to the zoom meeting will be sent out before the meeting.

 

Otters' 8 and Under Invitational

  • Next Monday, we will begin registration for the Otters' 8 and Under Invitational.  A NewsSplash devoted just to this topic will be sent out this Saturday or Sunday detailing the meet information and registration process.  This is a super fun meet for the little Stingrays to participate in so be on the lookout for that Splash!   

 

BHS Swim Season Is Almost Over!

  • We love the BHS swim team, and we hope that all of our younger swimmers eventually have the chance to swim with them, but yay their season is almost over!  This means that the Stingrays will get all of the practice lanes to themselves very shortly! 
  • There may be a few BHS swimmers practicing next week if they qualify for their Sectional Meet, but other than that, their season is complete.  Thank you for your patience in sharing pool time and coaches with them!

 

6 and Unders Practice

  • Given that we will not be sharing swim lanes with the high school any longer, the 4:30 6 and Unders practice group will now take place in the lap pool (normal practice pool) versus the rec pool.
  • Information about the summer 6 and Under Practice schedule will be sent out in early May.
