NewsSplash: Martinez Meet Registration, Coach Brian's Lost Mug, 13/14 Escape Room Outing

Hi Team!

Here are more than a few updates for the week....

Martinez Dual Meet, Saturday, July 14th

• Okay team....we are undefeated in League competition this year.  We REALLLLLYYYYYY want to beat Martinez.  They have won every League Championship Meet for the past decade.  We need to beef up our numbers to make us competitive with Martinez.  They are a large and powerful team and we want every Stingray to commit to this meet.
• We have opened registration back up until Tuesday, July 11th at midnight.  If your swimmer is available to swim and has not yet signed up, please sign them up to compete!

New Mini Meet Meet Added to Schedule

• Southampton would like to have a mini city meet with the Stingrays at their pool!!!
• Date:  Tuesday, July 18th. Warmups begin at 5:00pm.  
• Their pool is small so they are limiting it to 60 Stingrays.  It will be first come first serve.  This is a low pressure meet for fun!!!   
• As signups are limited, we are asking families to sign up on this signup genius.  Please only sign up if your swimmer will definitely be there.  Do not take a spot away from another swimmer and then no show.  
• Their pool is slightly short of 25 yards.  Times at this meet will not count for PR's, County Qualifying times, etc.  
• We will need a handful of timers so please sign up for a timing shift on the regular team website.  

Lapapalooza Prize Sheets

• Prize Sheets are now overdue.  If you have not turned in your swimmer's sheet yet, the coordinators absolutely need them by tomorrow so they can ensure that they have the prizes in time for Family Fun Night distribution.
• If you do not turn in the prize sheet on time, we can not guarantee when/if your swimmer will receive their prizes.
• You can also text Jeanne Woodford a picture of your filled out prize sheet to 707-853-0928.  Andrea Meaders will be poolside until noon all week if you have questions.

Drawing for Cash at Martinez Meet on July 15th

• The drawing for cash will be performed at the Martinez Meet on July 15th (the tickets say the drawing will be on July 11th....it should state the 15th).  Here is the prize info sheet for the drawing.  
• Tickets can be purchased through the time of the drawing. Andrea Meaders will be on the pool deck from the start of 9/10 practice until noon everyday this week.  

13/14 Escape Room Outing

• What:  13/14 Age Group Outing
• When:  July 13 from 4:00-6:30 PM
• Where:  Red Door Escape Room, 2075 Diamond Blvd, Concord and Fuddruckers, 1975 Diamond Blvd, Unit E20
• How:  The team will cover the escape room so please just bring $20 to cover dinner.  Unless you are staying to help chaperone, drop off your swimmer at the Escape Room at 4:00 and pick them up from Fuddruckers at 6:30pm.  Please fill out these two waiver forms:

Coach Brian's White Coffee Mug

• Coach Brian lost his white reusable coffee mug in team camp yesterday at ECI.  If you picked it up, please return it to Coach Brian. He will be very appreciative.
