Registration Reminder

Please make sure to register your swimmer(s) as soon as possible.  Our 6 and under group is currently at capacity so if you want them to swim, get them added to our waitlist as soon as possible.  We will add from the wait list on a first come first serve basis as slots become available.  This wait list is accessible via the registration page on the website.  Our other age groups do not currently have enrollment caps, but they could get capped if they get too full.  Don't take the chance and miss out on a summer of swim team!

 

Slight Change to New Swimmer Clinic (March 20th through March 23rd) and First Week of Practice (March 27th through March 30th)

Per County Meet Rules, we cannot officially start swim team practice until April 1st.  However, we are allowed to host swim clinics during the month of March as long as each session (age group) is less than 45 minutes in duration.  Here is the altered schedule for the New Swimmer Clinic, the first week of practice (now called Spring Cinics), and the normal Spring Practice Schedule.  Please note that there is no practice for the first week of April, which coincides with the BUSD Spring Break.  

  • New Swimmers To The Stingrays Clinic (any new Stingray is welcome to attend, regardless of swim level)
    • ​Monday, March 20 - Thursday, March 23rd:  5:30-6:15

 

  • Spring Clinics for all Stingrays (new and returning):  Monday, March 27th through Thursday, March 30th
    • Spring Clinics will run Monday through Thursday and are limited to 45 minutes per group
      • 6 and unders:  4:00-4:30
      • 7/8s:  4:30-5:15
      • 9-12s:  5:30-6:15
      • 13 Ups:  6:15-7:00

 

  • Spring Practice for all Stingrays:  Monday, April 10th-Thursday, June 1st (there is no practice for the week of Spring Break, Monday April 3rd -Thursday, April 6th)
    • Spring practice will run Monday through Thursday​​
      • 6 and unders  4:00-4:30
      • 7/8s   4:30-5:15
      • 9-12s   5:15-6:15
      • 13 Ups  5:30-7:00

 

Assistant Coach Filing Deadline

We are very pleased to have multiple applications for the open assistant coach position to assist Coaches Mariska and Miguel.  The filing deadline for this opportunity is Wednesday, February 15th.  If you know of any last minute candidates, please send them the link to the Google Forms Assistant Coach Application.

 

Junior Coach Filing Deadline

Any 13 and up swimmer who is interested in applying for a junior coach position needs to fill out the Google Forms Junior Coach Application now (even if they just plan on being available in the summer).  The filing deadline is Friday, February 24th.  Please make sure your swimmer applies for the job now....waiting to apply during the summer is too late!  

 

One More Lap

Justin Magno is still collecting swim gear to add to his One More Lap Program for recycled swim gear.  If you have fins, team swimsuits, parkas, etc in good condition that your swimmer has outgrown, please email him at justin.magno321@gmail.com.  He will pick up the items from our porch and add them to his free sign up genius before the season starts.
