Spring Practice Schedule Change, Volunteer Job Signups Now Open

Here are some updates!

 

Spring Practice Schedule Change

  • We have many new swimmers in our younger age groups.  It is great that we are building up the team and this means that we will need to rearrange the practice schedule to give these larger groups of newer and younger swimmers more space to practice.
  • This change only affects the 11/12 age group and is currently for Spring only.  For Spring, the 11/12 age group will practice with the 13/up swimmers.  Here is where the schedule currently stands:
  • Spring Clinics for all Stingrays (new and returning):  Monday, March 27th through Thursday, March 30th
    • Spring Clinics will run Monday through Thursday and are limited to 45 minutes per group
      • 6 and unders:  4:00-4:30
      • 7/8s:  4:30-5:15
      • 9-10s:  5:30-6:15
      • 11 Ups:  6:15-7:00
  • Spring Practice for all Stingrays:  Monday, April 10th-Thursday, June 1st (there is no practice for the week of Spring Break, Monday April 3rd -Thursday, April 6th)
    • Spring practice will run Monday through Thursday​​
      • 6 and unders  4:00-4:30
      • 7/8s   4:30-5:15
      • 9-10s   5:15-6:15
      • 11 Ups  5:30-7:00

 

Volunteer Job Signups

  • Volunteer job signups are now open. 
  • All families, unless they bought out of their parent volunteer requirements, serve on the board, are a core volunteer, or ONLY have 15/up swimmers must sign up to work at 4 dual meets and 2 social events.   Invitational meets all have their separate volunteer job requirements and these jobs are assigned the week of the actual invitational meet.  You can not sign up for an invitational meet job online or use an invitational meet job to count as one of your 4 dual meets.  
  • The meet jobs are all posted on the website.  The parent volunteer requirements and how to sign up for a meet job (2/3 down the page) are posted under the volunteer tab on the front page. Here is a direct link.   
  • The dates and details of the social events are not yet finalized.  The social jobs will be available for signup closer to the actual events.
