Fall Swim Mini Meet Volunteers Still Needed

Hi All,

The Thursday mini meet is quickly approaching and we still need some volunteers to help out!  If you are free, please sign up on our signup genius to help out for the hour your that child is participating.  We need more volunteers for both practice groups, but particularly for the younger group at 4:00.  

The fall mini meets are very informal.  You do not register your child online to participate; you just show up to your assigned practice time and the mini meet will proceed after a quick warmup.  We will have one timer with a stop watch (no scoreboard), and ideally one recorder to write down the times, per lane.    

If your little Stingray does not feel comfortable swimming across the length of the pool by themself, they can still participate!  We will have junior coaches available to help them across the water in the strokes that they can do (most likely freestyle and/or backstroke).   They do not have to do any strokes they are not comfortable swimming.  This is a great chance for them to get a "meet experience" without the pressure of an actual meet, before next summer's real meets begin!  

There is technically no volunteer requirement for Fall Swim; we just ask that parents who are available to help out.  But, please help out if you can!!!
