NewsSplash 10/14/2023: Fall Swim Practice Time Changes, Pizza Pirate Cards, Missing Parka, Mini Meet #2

We are approaching the end of our Fall Swim Season soon!

 

Practice Time Change

  • As we are quickly losing daylight at the end of practice, it is time to switch to our earlier end time for the second practice group.  Practice time for the first group will stay the same.
    • 10/Unders:  4:00-5:00
    • 11/Ups:  5:00-6:00

 

Missing Parka

  • It appears a swimmer's parka was possibly accidentally taken by another swimmer.  If your household has an extra blue parka (approximately child's large) and you do not know where it came from, please reply to this email.  The parka is Adoretex brand and looks like the brighter blue parka in this picture:

 

Pizza Pirate Cards

  • We are 3/4 of the way to our goal with the Pizza Pirate Discount Cards.  Jeanne Woodford and Andrea Meaders still have them available at practice if you are able to sell a few!  These are really the best deal with their free pizzas, breadsticks, and more.  The cost of the card is only $10.  Just one of the free pizzas included on the card is worth more than this, and the upper left red free pizza sticker is outright free, it does not require a purchase to use the coupon!

 

Mini Meet #2

  • The last day of practice, Thursday October 26th, will be our second mini meet.  If you are available to help out, please sign up to volunteer on our sign up genius. 

 

One More Lap Donations

  • Now that the swim season is coming to an end, it is time to clean out your closets and swim backpacks!  If you have out grown fins, parkas, swim backpacks, competitive team suits, etc that are in good condition but will be too small next season, Justin Magno will glady accept donations and redistribute these items to the team at the beginning of next season.
  • If you have any items, please give them to 13-year-old Evan Magno (junior coach and swimmer) and he will get them to Justin.
