May The 4th Be With  You!  Here are additional random updates that were too numerous to include in yesterday's splash. 

 

Spirit Wear Store

  • You all have been asking and here it is, Benicia Stingrays and Milkman Athletics present The Stingrays Spirit Wear Store!!!
  • These are updated designs, so you can add to your already super cool collection from last year!
  • The store will be open for one week before we shut it down to process this batch of orders.  
  • Order your spirit wear by Friday, May 10th, so that we can get items to you for the summer!!!

 

Time Drops Live App

  • Our fundraising directors and meet director have worked tirelessly in the off-season to update our meet timing system (generously paid for by donations from Valero and Aqua Pool!  Thank you to these businesses for supporting our team!!!)
  • We are optimistic we can have the system up and running for Time Trials.  This new system is wireless and instantly updates results to the Time Drops Live app!  
  • Download the Time Drops Live app to your phone before Time Trials to ensure you can immediately access your swimmer's results!  All home meets will use this app for instant results.  

 

Otters' 8 and Under Invitational (pertinent only to 8/under families)

  • The Otters' Invitational is a GREAT and FUN way for our littlest Stingrays to get meet experience.  It is a fast and easy meet to attend because there are no big kids!!!  
  • Junior Coaches are allowed to be in the water with non-independent swimmers at this meet so take adv~ntage of this!!!  
  • Date:  Sunday, June 9th from 8:30 AM to ~11:30 (warmups at 7:30).  
  • Registration
    • ​Invitationals are registered for differently than Time Trials and dual meets (dual meets are against one other team, comprise the bulk of our meets this summer, and are registered for online).  
    • To register for Otters and other invitationals, you must fill out a registration form, pay the fee (invitationals have a separate fee; dual meets do not), and turn in the reg form on the pool deck.  
    • All of the meet information and registration form with detailed instructions can be found here. 
    • If you can, please print out the registration form at home to fill out.  If you do not have a printer, a few hard-copy printouts will be on the pool deck during practice.  
  • Volunteer Jobs:  ALL families will be assigned a volunteer assignment.  If you no show for your assigned job, you will lose your volunteer deposit of $150, which must be repaid. 
  • Registration Deadline:  Thursday, May 23rd, late entries will not be accepted.
