We are just about to enter meet season so you will be sent regular NewsSplashes with new info and important reminders about upcoming deadlines!

 

New Information​

Time Trials National Anthem Singer

  • Our resident National Anthem Singer, Ava, has other voice commitments for the Saturday of Time Trials.  We need a fill in for her!  If your swimmer can sing the National Anthem, please reach out ASAP!

 

Family Folders and Swim Photo Order Forms

  • The Family Folder Cart will be updated this evening.  Every family will have a folder in the black cart.  Important notices and meet awards will be placed in your family folder throughout the season.
  • Swim photo order forms will be in your folders by tomorrow.  Please collect these from your family folder so that you can review and order your packages BEFORE team photos.  Photos will go much faster if you are prepared for them beforehand.  
  • It is easiest if you order photos and pay online beforehand, but you MUST ALSO FILL OUT THE ORDER ENVELOPE AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO PHOTOS.  This is how the photographer keeps track of who is who.
  • Order and pay ahead of time using this link.
  • If you use the above link, no password is necessary.  If you use the generic website listed on the order envelopes, the password is Stingrays.  
  • Cash and check will also be accepted at the photoshoot if you do not order online in advance
  • The order website will be open for 48 hours beyond photo day.  Your swimmer must sit for an individual photo if there is any possibility you MIGHT order an individual photo. 

 

10 and Over Fitter and Faster Swim Clinic

  • American Canyon Ahi is hosting a swim clinic for 10/overs.  This is not a Stingray sponsored event and Stingray coaches will not be in attendance.  
  • Date
    • Saturday, May 18th:  Butterfly and Breaststroke (Note that Time Trials is this day)
    • Sunday, May 19th:  Freestyle and Backstroke

Spirit Wear Store

  • Check out our Spirit Wear Store!!!!
  • Deadline to order is Friday, May 10th.  This is likely your ONLY chance all summer to order Stingray Spirit Wear so place your order now!!

 

Time Trials Registration

  • If your swimmer is going to participate in Time Trials, you must register by Saturday, May 11th.  
  • So far only half of our swimmers are registered.  If your swimmer is not registered, they can not swim!!!
  • Here are step by step instructions on how to register for a meet.
  • Thanks to all of you for filling up the volunteer jobs.  We still need of a Head Timer if anyone can sign up for this job.  

 

Otters 8/Unders

  • Registration is actively underway for the most fun meet of the year for the littlest Stingrays.  
  • Here is all of the Otters' Information. 
  • Registration deadline is Thursday, May 23rd.  No late registrations will be allowed.
