Lapapalooza Update

  • Don't forget to register on the website to participate in Lapapalooza as you would for a regular meet!!!  
  • *NEW*  All Lapapalooza participants who have sponsors on the sponsor website by Friday, June 21st will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift certificate to Baxters. 
  • Also, for every $100 in sponsors you receive, you will also receive one raffle ticket for the drawing.  For per lap donations, tickets will be placed in the raffle based on how much you earn that day.
  • The drawing will be held at the end of Lapapalooza. 
  • As a reminder, here is the prize sheet!!!

 

Free Pop-Up Tents

  • We have 3 old popup tents (10x10') in our shed.  They are taking up space and we do not need them since Valero donated our beautiful and personalized pop-up tents last year.  
  • If you would like a free popup tent, please visit Justin and Evan Magno's One More Lap Signup Genius and claim one of the tents.  Arrangements will be made to meet you at the pool to give you one of the tents.

  • The tents are well used but functional and come "as is"

 

Spirit Store Closes Today (Sunday, June 16th) At Midnight

  • This is your last chance to get Spirit Wear this season! 
  • Visit our Spirit Wear Store by Milkman Athletics to get your goods in time for our July meets!!!

 

Competitive Swim Lessons

  • We still have a few spots available for private competitive swim lessons.  The open slots are later in the season so it would be great to reserve a spot now so your swimmer can fine tune whatever they need before League Championship Meet!
  • Visit our sign-up genius for details and to reserve a spot.

 

League Championship Meet

  • If your swimmer plans to attend League Championship Meet (and we expect all swimmers to attend!!!), please commit them on the website ASAP (as you would for any dual meet)
  • The Knight Rays (the spirit group of our 13/up swimmers) is starting their good luck poster-making tradition.  If your swimmer is not committed, the Knight Rays will not make a poster for them!!!  
  • The younger swimmers get a kick out of the poster deliveries and hanging the posters on their tents at League Meet!!!​

 

8/Under Outing Information (note 6/unders and 7/8's are combined):  Reminder And Please Sign Up To Donate An Item

  • Who:  All 8/Under Swimmers
  • What:  Bracelet making, pizza and ice cream party, and team bonding
  • Where:  Francesca Park
  • When:  Thursday, June 20th at 4:00PM
  • Why:  Because these age group outings are one of the highlights of the entire swim season!  
  • The team will provide the pizza.  Parents, please visit this Signup Genius and donate ice cream and fixings! 
  • Google Form Permission Slip:  ALL participating swimmers need a filled out permission slip!!!
  • This is not a drop-off event.  Every child should have a supervising adult with them (it is okay to carpool, but the carpooling parent will be in charge of all swimmers with them).
