HI Stingray Families!

 

Next week is going to be a busy one!!!  Please read through to the end,  

 

 9/10 Age Group Outing

  • Who:  All 9/10 Benicia Stingray Swimmers
  • What:  Swim Party at the Southampton Pool! (Note it is the SH pool, not James Lemos).  SH will provide lifeguards.
  • Where:  Southampton Swimming Pool
  • When:  Thursday, June 27th from 5:00-7:00
  • Why:  Because our kids love to swim and hang out!  This is a totally different environment than practice....this evening is just about fun!!!
  • Food:  Pizza, drinks, and plates/napkins will be provided.   Please bring a dessert to share if you are able (ice cream bars, popsicles, cookies, cupcakes, etc etc etc.)  There is a freezer in the clubhouse that can hold boxes ice cream bars/popsicles. Large gallons of ice cream are messy and require too much adult supervision to dish out/etc so please no scoopable ice cream.  Remember that it may be warm, so things that won't melt are very helpful.  
  • Please do not bring anything with peanuts or other nuts.  We do have highly allergic swimmers to peanuts, and exposure can result in a trip to the ER or worse.  
  • For your swimmer to participate, you must sign this Google Permission Slip ASAP!
  • Parents can drop off at 5:00pm and pickup at 7:00pm.  We are not requiring you to stay. for the duration of the party. 

 

Family Fun Night

  • ​Who:  All Stingrays and their entire family!
  • What:  A FREE night of open swim and games!!!
  • When:  Wednesday, June 26th from 5:30-7:30 PM
  • Where:  James Lemos Pool
  • Why:   Because we all love hanging out together in a totally laid back and fun environment!

 

Lapapalooza

  • Don't forget about this super fun event, which will take place on Friday, June 28th during regular practice times.    
  • This is our biggest fundraiser for our team.  As a team, we can not survive without fundraising and donations from our wonderful community. The money we bring in helps us pay for the Valero / Stingray pop up tents you see at every home meet, the AMAZING new timing system, the expenses involved with updating the whole scoring and timing system, age group outings, junior coaches, etc etc etc.  
  • The Stingrays are truly a family and we appreciate everything your family does to help us out.  
  • Please register for Lapaplooza ASAP.    In order for your swimmer to participate at Lapapalooza,

 

​East County Invitational Registration Forms

  • Don't forget to register for ECI!!!  Next to Battle, it is our largest meet for the season!  It is a meet of fast swims, PR's, and earning gold caps/obtaining county times!!!  
  • Here is the ECI information.  Please print out a registration form, make appropriate payent, and submit entry forms into the black box on the famiy folder cart.  You can register your swimmer for one or both days.  There should be additional reg forms clipped to the family folder cart as well. 
  • Registration forms are due on Wednesday, June 26th.  No late entries will be accepted.  We need to immediately compile our entries and send them off to ECI. 
  • Remember, ALL families will be assinged a volunteer job. Do not plan on sending your swimmer with another family unless you have found someone to fulfill your volunteer shift for you.  If you miss/no show, $150 will be charged to the credit card we have on file.   
  • The 6/unders who are not independent swimmers yet are allowed to use kickboards!
