Battle of the Ages

Thank you to all of our families who braved the heat and came out to Battle of the Ages!  It was a great weekend with a TON of PR's (seriously, every kid who swam dropped time like crazy....hint hint, ALL swimmers should swim at this meet next year!)  A special thank you to our coaches who were on deck ALL DAY, ALL WEEKEND, in the near 100 degree heat.  We appreciate your dedication to our kids and all of the screams, cheers, and whistles you gave to our swimmers.    

AND, Congratulations to Apollo Ambrose (12), who earned two County times in breaststroke and butterfly and to Caden Clements (12) who got his first ever County time in backstroke!!!!  Also, congratulations to Evan Magno (14) who improved all four of his County Times, won backstroke, and was runner up high point for his age group.    

 

 

Pinole Meet Registration

  • Don't forget that we have our meet against Pinole coming up on Wednesday, July 10th.  This means that the registration deadline is Wednesday, July 3rd.  Register NOW so you do not forget--late adds will not be accepted!!!

 

Lapapalooza

  • Thank you to all of our swimmers who participated in Lapapalooza and helped us raise over $15,000!!!  We were just shy of our goal by $1,000 so if anyone wants to give Jeanne a check, she will gladly accept it :).  
  • Prize selection sheets with the total amount that each swimmer raised will be put in your famliy folders by Wednesday of this week.  
  • ***Important*** We have 18 donations that could not be linked to an individual swimmer.  If the total raised by your swimmer does not match what you think they raised, please email Jeanne Woodford and Andrea Meaders at fundraising@bsrswim.org so that you can identify any potential donors (from the 18 unlinked donors).  
  • Thank you to Jeanne and Andrea for managing this huge fundraiser for us.  Our team could not survive without the hard work they put in year round to keep this team financially afloat!
