**NEW** Torchlight Parade Info; ECI Updates
Torchlight Parade Information: Wednesday, July 3rd
****It will be HOT, have your kids wear cool clothes, sunblock, and wear a hat***
- Benicia's Torchlight Parade is this Wednesday July 3rd. Please arrive by 6:00pm (spot 47 in map below) to check in. Parade starts promptly at 6:30. (Give yourself LOTS of time for parking and walking to our meet up spot!)
- All volunteers check in with Wendy Buresh BEFORE the parade starts. All no shows will have $150 charged to the credit card on file!!!
- We are entry #47 between the Diablo A’s and the Benicia Theatre group (see below)
- We are meeting at the start of B street right on the corner of B and first street
- If you are a wagon puller remember to bring your own wagon. You can decorate it with red white and blue and or Stingrays' gear (but you don’t have to). Wagon pullers are for candy / water and a small amount of snacks for the kids (but please have them eat before) - then as we run out of supplies they can give little kids a ride in as needed.
- Everyone should wear red white and blue and or Stingrays team shirts
- If your child would like to pass out candy, bring a swim cap to carry the candy in. We have limited amounts for refills so if you want to pass out candy the entire parade bring your own for backup.
- Candy needs to be handed to parade watchers, absolutely no throwing allowed. If we are caught throwing anything, we will be disqualified from being judged and asked to leave the parade. Chaperones and wagon pullers, please remind kids of this.
- Please keep 20 feet between us and the group in front of us.
- At the end of the parade kids/families disperse. There is not an organized meeting place at the end so if you are not walking with your child, have a plan of where to meet up. Coaches and volunteers are not responsible for your kids at the end of the parade. The parade finishes right before we hit Military (near the gazebo).
- We will have big kids carrying Stingray and sponsor banners. Be sure families stay behind the main Stingrays' banner.
