Date Change to 15/18 Outing, Knightray Deliveries

Hello 13/14 and 15-18 Families,

 

We realized there is a conflict with the 15-18 Outing and the Knightray deliveries for the League Meet Good Luck Posters.

They were both tentatively scheduled for Thursday, July 25th.  Below is the new Knightray and Social Event Schedule.  

 

The kids have quite a few posters to make still.  Please send your swimmer to the last two Knightray meetings if they are able.  We need all hands on deck!  

 

​Tuesday, July 16th:  Knightray Meeting at Justin and Evan's house, 4:00pm, 519 Toyon Place

 

Thursday, July 18th:  13-14 Outing as previously planned, details to be sent out soon

 

Tuesday, July 23rd: Knightray Meeting at Peyton Whitney's house, 4:00pm.  She has a pool and if the kids want to swim, they need to finish the posters first!  

 

Thursday, July 25th

  • Knightray poster deliveries to 12/under swimmers.  Posters are hand delivered to each swimmer at their home.  Typically the kids get together around 4:00pm (meet at the pool) and divide and conquer the deliveries by neighborhood.
  • The 12/unders, particularly the really little ones, get a kick out of the older swimmers and coaches showing up at their homes!
  • We will need a handful of parents willing to drive our kids around Benicia to deliver the posters to approximately 10-15 houses each.  If you are able to drive, please reply to this email so we can plan.  

 

Wednesday, July 31st

  • ​This will be the rescheduled date for the 15-18 outing.  This will be a chance for the older kids to celebrate the end of the season in good company.  
  • So that we can budget, please respond or re-respond if your 15-18 year old swimmer
