County Practice Schedule

 Hello Families!

Congratulations!  If you are receiving this email, your swimmer has either qualified to County as an individual swimmer or is a candidate to swim on a relay team at County Championships.   Please note that the relay lineups are not finalized yet.  Some of our relays have 5 swimmers who could fill a role on a qualified relay and the final lineups will be announced closer to County Weekend.  All candidates are invited to attend County practice, but there are no guarantees on the relay lineups at this time.  

County Week is such a special week for our kids and Coach Mariska really goes all out to make our swimmers feel special during this week.  The coaches and swimmers have worked hard all season so this week and the meet is a celebration of all of their hard work and accomplishments!  

Practice Schedule, Monday, July 29th - Friday, August 2nd

• For all 9/up swimmers, practice will occur from 8:30-10:00.
• For all 8/under swimmers, practice will occur from 9:00-10:00.

More information will be sent out regarding County Championships once we get the meet packet from the County Committee.  

County Weekend Schedule

So that you can plan, the events are typically scheduled as:

  • Men's and Women's 15-18 50 Freestyle Preliminaries
  • Freestyle Preliminaries
  • Breaststroke Preliminaries
  • IM 11 and Ups Finals
• Saturday PM
  • Men's and Women's 15-18 50 Freestyle Finals
  • Medley Relays
  • Freestyle Finals
  • Breaststroke Finals
• Sunday AM
  • Backstroke Preliminaries
  • Butterfly Prelminaries
  • 7/8 and 9/10IM Finals
• Sunday PM
  • Frestyle Relays
  • Backstroke Finals
  • Butterfly Finals

Please plan on attending practice.  If your swimmer will not be swimming at County, please let us know ASAP so that we can plan the relays and meet entries accordingly.  If your swimmer has qualified in more than 2 individual events. Coach Mariska will need to know by Sunday, July 28th which events your swimmer wants to compete in.
