Monster Splash Invitational Registration Is Now Open!!!

Hi Team!

We are so excited to announce that the Monster Splash Invitational registration is now open!  Thank you so much to our fearless meet director, Leslie Clements, who has undertaken the huge task of getting this thing up and running!  Coach Miguel had the great idea for this meet and then said, "Uhhh, so you guys can make this happen right?  Because I have no idea how to!"  And Leslie indeed is making it happen!  You can register for the meet here!!!  Meets are listed by event date, so scroll down to October 19th and will see our meet.  

Per the flyer below, we are having all athletes register via Fast Swims.  This greatly simplifies the registration process since we have invited almost 15 teams to participate.  If you have participated in year round swim or the Hox Last Chance Meet, you will likely have a Fast Swims account.  If you have never used Fast Swims, you must create a new account.  It is fairly straightforward to create an account EXCEPT it will ask for your swimmer's ID number.  This number refers to their USA Swim ID number.  Our swimmers do not have a USA Swim ID number because they do not swim under USA (year round) Swim, they swim under Summer Rec Swim.  As such, when you register, just make up a 14 digit number.  Fast Swims suggests using your swimmer's birthday as MMDDYYYYMMDDYY.  A swimmer with the birthday of January 30, 2020 could use the number 01302020013020.  After we send our meet file to Fast Swims, they will automatically switch the made-up swim ID Number to your swimmer's Summer Rec Swim ID number (we have this number, and Fast Swims has access to this as well).  It sounds sketchy, but trust me it works! 

Once you have an account, and you register for the meet, you will need to enter your swimmer's PR times.  This is where the PR plaque from the Awards Ceremony comes in handy!  Make sure you pay attention to colons and decimals when entering the time.  For example, 1:32.19.  Note the colon and decimal point in the example (you can't mix them up or it won't work).  

Register quickly.....once we hit 300 swimmers, or October 15th (whichever comes first), the registration will automatically shut down!!!!  

Any Stingray may participate, we are not limiting this to registered Fall Swim swimmers!!!!

This meet should be super fun!  We will have fun heat winner awards and are working on medals for top finishers!  This meet is for fun and bragging rights (it's pretty cool to hold a meet record!); times will not qualify swimmers for County Championships, 2025.
