Happy Monday Stingrays,

WOW, what a fantastic weekend we’ve had and what a fun week ahead!  

1.   ECI RESULTS

·      Congratulations to ALL our swimmers!!!   We had the 3^rd smallest team  and came 4^th in both ‘A’ Flight & ‘B’ Flight out of 10 teams!!!!!!!!!

·      High Point Trophy winners for Benicia were:

‘A’ Flight   11-12 Girls    Julia Lindemuth

‘A’ Flight   13-14 Girls    Kelsi Norman

‘B’ Flight   11-12 Boys    Owen Lassahn

‘B’ Flight   13-14 Girls  TIED  Samantha deGavre & Alexa Jacobson

‘B’ Flight   15-18 Boys    Matt Simonson

·      Records broken at ECI

13-14 Girls Kelsi Norman broke the 100 IM & 50 Free record

13 – 14 Girls Alyssa Lisenko broke the 50 Fly record

13-14 Girls Kelsi, Alyssa, Molly Casper, Lauren Matthews broke both the Medley & Freestyle relay records

2.  FAMILY FUN NIGHT!!!  LET’S CELEBRATE!!!   WEDNESDAY 5PM - 7PM

·      FFN is for ALL STINGRAYS both swim team AND SUMMER FITNESS

·      FFN is this Wednesday at the pool.  It’s going to be a gorgeous 84 degrees on Wednesday so join us for some fun, food, tunes….from 5pm – 7pm

·      If you can signup online it will give us an idea for hot dogs. 

·      $5 for Sacs Hotdog, drink and chips

·      Family Relay Race

·      Bring all your favorite pool toys: noodles, beach balls etc

·      Slide will be open to Stingrays

 

3.  SCOTTSDALE INVITATIONAL MEET- SATURDAY, AUGUST 3^RD.

·      Deadline to sign up is July 24^th.  Entry form, waiver and payment should be placed in the Norman Family Folder.

·      Entry Form is on the website under the Scottsdale page under the Events tab.

·      THIS IS A SUPER FUN 1 day meet .

·      Families must volunteer if they have a swimmer participating.

·      Parent relay at the end of the meet.

4.  SPIRIT FRIDAY – this FRIDAY, JULY 19^th

·      Come early to practice or stay a bit later and make some spirit posters for this weekend’s home Tri Meet.  This is our first ever tri-meet so spread the Stingray spirit.  All supplies will be provided

6.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

·      Stingrays we still have 4 jobs open for this weekend’s Home meet and 14 jobs for the Away meet on the 27^th. 

·      If you haven’t got all your units, these are your last 2 opportunities.  If you can’t make the meets, please find someone to do your job or pay a substitute, the going rate is $5/unit

 

7.  FUN FRIDAY AT THE PADDOCK BOWL, Friday, AUGUST 2^nd.

·      Mark your calendars.

·      Meet at James Lemos at 12:30 or at Paddock Bowl at 1pm
