Early Bird Registration Opens Tomorrow at 9am!!!
It's time to register for the 2025 Spring/Summer Season!
But first, we have a couple of board positions that we would like to get help with!
- Treasurer: We still need a financially savvy person to help Eli Gelardin with the treasurer role.
- Volunteer Coordinator: We would like a volunteer coordinator to partner with Wendy Buresh to help with behind the scenes work and in person at meets.
- Please email president@bsrswim.org if you are interested in fulfilling a board position that will fulfill your season volunteer requirement!
And now on to registration!!!!
Please refer to the complete Season Information for all of the details. The most pertinent information is below.
Spring and Summer is considered "one season". Your one time registration fee will cover all practices, regular dual meets, and League Meet. Invitationals do have additional fees associated with them. Regardless of how many practices your swimmer will participate in for Spring, the registration fee is the same. You can not just register for Summer at a discounted fee.
8/Under Requirements
-
Swimmers must turn 4 by June 15th, 2025 in order to register for the 2025 season.
-
For NEW families joining the team, we will now require all 8/under swimmers to complete a tryout (Date TBD). During this tryout, swimmers will be expected to:
- Swim 12.5 yards (half the pool length) unassisted
- Put their face in the water
- Float on their back
- These requirements do not apply to RETURNING families with new 8/unders to the team. If you are eligible for early bird registration, then these requirements do not pertain to your 8/under.
- For new families, registration will occur before tryouts can occur. If you believe your swimmer will pass the test, please register them to ensure their place on the team. If your swimmer does not pass tryouts, we will refund your registration fee MINUS a $25 processing fee (we get charged by the credit card company for refunds and this cost must be passed on). Therefore, be fairly certain your swimmer can swim half of a lap before registering them.
Team Enrollment Cap
- Total Team: 180 swimmers
- 6/unders: 30 swimmers (15 boys and 15 girls)
- 7/8s: 40 swimmers (20 boys and 20 girls)
Meet Expectations
- We are a competitive team so we do expect all swimmers to participate in swim meets.
- Please do not schedule any vacations for Saturday, July 26, 2025. We expect all swimmers and their families to participate in our League Championship Meet.

Important!!! Family Volunteer Volunteer Requirements!!!!
- Here are the Parent Volunteer Requirements. These requirements ONLY cover regular dual meets. Invitational meets, League Meet, and County Meet all have ADDITIONAL parent volunteer requirements if your swimmer participates in these meets.
- Except for families with ONLY 15/up swimmers, ALL families are expected to fulfill the season volunteer requirement.
- If your work deposit is not current (you did not fulfill your requirements from last season), you must settle any owed balances and repay the work deposit of $150 in order to register
- Families who have only participated in Fall Swim, and have never registered for a Spring/Summer season, will not have a volunteer deposit on file. This deposit must be paid for your registration to be completed.
- If you choose in advance to not fulfill your parent volunteer requirement, you may "buy out" of this requirement by paying $500 at registration. You must still pay the volunteer deposit of $150 if you do not have one on file. Job buy out does NOT buy you out of volunteering at any invitational meets, League Meet, or County Meet should your swimmer participate in any of these meets.
- If you ONLY have 15/up swimmers, you do not have a regular season volunteer requirement, but you are still expected to volunteer at any invitationals, League Meet, or County Meet that your swimmer competes at.
- Dual meet jobs will be available to sign up once your registration has been confirmed. Please give us 72 hours after you have registered to confirm your registration. Once confirmed, you will receive an email and you may then pick your dual meet jobs to sign up for. Social event jobs will be added as the season progresses.
Thanks and GOOOOOO Stingrays!!!!
