Hi Stingray Family,

 

Thank you to our coaches and you, the families, for a smooth opening to our season!  We are thrilled to get this season underway!  Here are the upcoming week's reminders!

 

Team Suit Fittings

  • Date: Daily from Monday, April 7th to Thursday, April 10th
  • Time:  4:00-6:30 pm
  • Location: James Lemos Pool Deck
  • Order Deadline:  Sunday, April 13th
  • It is critical your swimmer attends a fitting as suits are non-refundable once ordered!!!
  • Here is a general size guide, but a fitting will be much more accurate
  • Order suits at our Q Team Store
  • Team suits are not required, but are encouraged.  
  • Evan Magno still has some fins and practice/team suits from past years for free on his One More Lap Signup Genius.  

   

 

The Return of the Snackbar!!!

  • We are excited to announce the snack bar will be open during Spring Practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30.  Be prepared to hand over a dollar or two to your little one as they will have earned a small snack after all of the hard work they just put in. 
  • And don't sweat it if you don't have cash because we accept Zelle as well!!!

 

Benicia Stingrays' Scholarship Committee

  • We are proud to announce the members of our Scholarship Committee.  Thank you Della Olm, Dunia Poswel and Chelsea Whitney for volunteering your time and experience to develop the Benicia Stingray Swim Team Scholarship Program for our swimmers. 
  • The Benicia Stingray Swim Team is committed to supporting our swimmers and will continue to identify programs and opportunities to do so. The support of our swim team family for our swimmers and our programs is the reason the swim team experience is growing and improving each year.  Thank you Swim Team Family!

Label Your Swimmer's Belongings!

  • This is a reminder to label your swimmer's belongings with a sharpie marker.  Fins and boards all look the same!  Label your swimmer's belongings with a sharpie in large letters so if they are left behind, you are more likely to reunite with them.

 

Season Opening Swim Party

  • Don't forget to RSVP for our season opening party at our SignUp Genius!  
  • Date:  Sunday, April 27th from 11am to 1pm
  • Location:  Southampton Swim Club
  • Donuts will be provided; you can sign up to bring an easy item to share; bring a blanket, chairs, and lunch to enjoy a picnic in the grass while your kids swim (adults are welcome in the pool as well!)
  • Meet the coaches/board members and get all of your questions answered!!!
