Practice Reminder

  • Practice will resume at the normal time on Monday, April 21st (even though this is a non-school day).

 

Discounted Suit Payment and Pick Up

  • For those who signed up for a discounted suit from the suit fittings, please pay for them and pick them up on Tuesday, April 22nd from 4:30-6:30 at the Snack Bar. 
  • Each suit is $20; Cash or Zelle accepted
  • Most of the suits have been claimed, but feel free to check out the Sign Up Genius!  If any parents want a suit....we have some adult-sized jammers and suits available!  

 

Season Opening Party

  • Don't forget to RSVP for our Season Opening Party on our Sign Up Genius!
  • Date:  Sunday, April 27th from 11am to 1pm
  • Location:  Southampton Swim Club
  • Donuts will be provided; you can sign up to bring an easy item to share. Bring a blanket, chairs, and lunch to enjoy a picnic in the grass while your kids swim (adults are welcome in the pool as well!)
  • Meet the coaches/board members and get all of your questions answered!!!

 

Season Opening Party Raffle

  • It's Raffle Time!!!! 
  • We will have our first raffle of the season at our Season Opening Party on April 27th. 
  • Purchase tickets from Jeanne Woodford or Andrea Meaders on the pool deck.   You do not need to be present to win.  Tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5, 7 for $15, or 15 for $20.  
  • The winner of this raffle will receive everything in the photo AND an ice chest AND a $100 gift certificate to Swim Outlet, which has our Benicia Stingray Team Store!

  • **New this Year** will be a Pink Ticket Raffle!  These tickets will be sold the day of the event for $1 each.  Pick a prize jar for a chance to win!  Prize jars will include:
    • ​2 hours to use the golf simulator at Sips
    • Team Towels
    • Outdoor Chairs
    • Beach Bags
    • Gift Certificates 
    • And More!!!!!

Stoke and Turn Reminder

  • Don't forget we have our League's Stroke and Turn Training on Saturday, April 26th from 8:00-11:30 at American Canyon High School.  
  • If you want me to stop reminding you about this, we need a few more folks to sign up to stroke and turn for us this season!  Any former competitive swimmers or parents who have more than 2 years of experience on the team should be able to learn how to judge!!!

 

Please remember to remind your swimmers to be on their best behavior when on the pool deck.  Do not leave your young Stingrays unsupervised.  Please do not allow them to run or play with scooters/bikes/etc on the pool deck and make sure they are courteous in the locker rooms and minimize shower lengths.  Please help us keep the pool deck and locker rooms clean of sprayed water, food wrappers, and drink cups/bottles/etc.
