East County Invitational (ECI) Registration Opens on Tuesday, June 10th!!!

What is ECI?

ECI ( East County Invitational ) is a 2 day, Saturday - Sunday event open to all Stingrays swimmers.  The Stingrays swim as a team against approximately 10 other teams.  Your family picks the events your child will swim on one or both days.  All participating famlies are required to volunteer (this includes board members, core members, families of only 15/ups, and volunteer job buy out families) and volunteering at ECI does NOT count as one of your four required meet volunteer jobs.

When - Saturday, July 12th -Sunday, July 13th, 2025

Location:   Freedom High School, 1050 Neroly Road, Oakley  

Entry Fees:

  • $10.00 registration/splash fee plus $6.00 per individual event swum
  • Team will pay for relays
  • Your swimmer may participate in as many individual events as they would like to for their age group over the two days
  • --NO REFUNDS--

Relays - Swimmers may be entered into relays only if they are swimming an individual event on the same day as the relay and there are enough swimmers in that gender/age group to make up a relay team.  The team will cover the costs of any relays.  If you can not stay until the late afternoon, please note this on the registration form so the coaches do not assign your swimmer to a relay.

Registration Opens:  Tuesday, June 10th

Please print this form.  If you do not have access to a printer, a few hard copies will be available on a clipboard on the family folder cart.  Fill out the registration form and pay electronically via Zelle or attach a check.  Do not submit your registration form without simultaneously paying.

Order of Events 
Saturday 

  • 7/8 & 9/10 IM, 15-18 50 Free
  • All age groups: Fly, Back, Medley Relay

Sunday

  • Kickboard Races for the Littles
  • 11 & up IM
  • All age groups: Breast, Free, Free Relay

 

Volunteer Work Assignments -  All participating families must volunteer at this meet.  Depending on the number of families we have, you may be assigned to work one or both days (you will only be assigned to work on days your swimmer is competing).  Please check in with Jill Magno on each day that you work to get credit for your shift.  No shows will be charged $150 to the credit card we have on file.

Program Dedications:  Support the Antioch Delta Skimmers by purchasing a dedication to your swimmer for their program here.

 

Rubber Ducky Races will take place on Sunday before the final relay.

 

Note that this invitational has an A and B flight, so it gives less competitive swimmers a chance to compete.  Top 1-8 finishers in each flight earn medals!  ECI has the best individual awards!!!

  • Martinez Otters Away Meet (Wednesday, July 2nd), deadline Saturday, June 25th.  Junior coaches are NOT allowed in the water with our 6/unders at the Martinez Pool (this is a Martinez rule)
