Aquaknights Meet Info (No Meet Sheet Yet), Abandoned Chair, Battle Deadline

Aquaknights Away Meet

We do not have the Meet Sheet yet, but so you can plan your morning, here is the Aquaknights info.  The meet sheet will be sent out as soon as Coach Steve receives it from Aquaknights.  

Date:  Saturday, June 7, 2025

Time  

  • Gates open at 7:45AM. 
  • Stingrays will warm up from 8:30-9:00.
  • The meet will run roughly from 9:15 AM-1:00 PM.

Location

  • Diamond Hills Sports Club and Spa, 1510 Neroly Road in Oakley
  • Please follow the signs to the east side parking lot as swimmers/families will access the pool through the side gate nearest the east parking lot (do NOT enter through the front door).
  • Please make sure to park in the Club Parking Lot.  Do NOT park in the street in the adjacent neighborhood.  

Locker Rooms

  • Restrooms for girls and boys are located in the hallway near the DHSC Kids' Zone (through the glass door) or in the pool house/storage building at the far end of the competition pool.  Children under 17 are NOT allowed in the adult locker room unless accompanied by their parent/guardian.  Children 4 years and older may not use the locker room of the opposite gender. 

Team Camp: 

  • Benicia should set up on the grass between the family pool and the tennis courts.  
  • It can get breezy here; bring something to stake down your tent

Volunteer Information

  • Remember to check in with Wendy Buresh or Krista Heredia immediately upon arrival.  
  • If you no show for your shift, the credit card on file will automatically be billed $150 for the no show fee.  

Food:  

  • There will be food available to purchase.  You may also bring your own food, just no glass bottles.

Help Out the Shepherds:  Parents of 8/unders, please help our shepherds by getting your swimmers to them about 15 minutes before their event is about to start.  It is not the shepherds' or coaches' job to hunt down your swimmer for their events, as they are herding about 15 cats at the same time as they are trying to find your kid.  

 

 

Abandoned Chair from Otters' Meet

  • ​Coach Miguel picked up a chair from team camp at the Otters' Meet.  It is in the team shed.  If this is your chair, ask any board member and they can grab the chair for you from our shed

Battle of the Ages

  • Battle of the Ages Deadline is Fast Approaching

  • Don't forget that Monday, June 9th is the deadline to register for Battle of the Ages (Saturday, June 28th-Sunday, June 29th).  If you want your swimmer to participate, you MUST fill out a registration form and pay via Zelle or check by June 9th.
  • Here is all of the Battle info with a link to the registration form included. 
  • This is the meet where many swimmers get their fastest times of the season, so don't miss out!  This is always an extremely well-run, organized, and FUN invitational!
  • ALL families who have a swimmer participating MUST fulfill their assigned volunteer shift AND be background checked (info for all of this is in the linked Battle info above).  Failure to do so will result in $150 being charged to the credit card on file.
