Please bear with us and pay attention to the frequent NewsSplashes that will be hitting your inboxes very regularly from this point forward!  They are the only way we have to convey important updates.  

 

Practice Schedule Reminder for the Summer

  • Remember that practice on Monday and Tuesday (June 9th-10th) will still be afternoon/evening sessions. Coach Steve's last day of teaching at his school is Wednesday, June 11th.
  • Wednesday will have no morning practice, and we will have the Ygnacio Woods meet in the evening.
  • Morning practices begin on Thursday, June 12th.
  • Morning practice schedule is Monday - Friday:
    • 13-18:  8:00-9:30 am
    • 11/12:  9:15-10:30 am
    • 9/10:  10:15-11:15 am
    • 7/8:  11:00 am -12:00 pm
    • 6/Unders: 11:45am - 12:30pm
    • Friday, July 4th:  No practice in honor of Independence Day

 

Team Caps (free with your online ordered suit) Have Arrived!

  • If you ordered your team suit through the Q website, your suit should have come with a free cap.  These caps were not originally shipped.  They have arrived.
  • Caps will be placed out towards the end of 6/under practice and will be near the Family Folder Cart.
  • This is the honor system!  Only swimmers who ordered the new team suit online from the Q store have a cap. Please do not take a team cap unless you ordered your suit online.
  • We will have a slightly different team cap available for purchase shortly.  

 

Knight Rays

  • If your 13/up swimmer wants to partake in weekly fun meetings to make good luck posters for the 12/under swimmers for League Champs, please join the Remind Group for ongoing notifications:   https://www.remind.com/join/knightray
  • The first meeting will be Thursday, June 12th from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Magno house (519 Toyon Place, Benicia).  All supplies will be provided, and there will be snacks and an overly friendly and social cat to play with.​
  • There are a lot of posters to make, and the big kids always have fun hanging out.  We need their help to get these posters done!  The littles  always LOVE getting their posters and hanging them from their tents at League Champs!
  • And, if nothing else, Knight Rays is a club that they can list on their college apps that they were an active member of for multiple years in a row!!!  

 

Aquaknights Meet Theme

  • This is somewhat last minute, but Aquaknights just contacted us and said that there is a western theme to their meet. If you have cowboy gear, plaid flannel, boots, hats, wear them to be in the spirit.  You can also decorate your tent. 
  • There is no prize, no winner....just the good feeling that you are a spirited person.
