NewsSplash: Lost Gold Chain, ECI Info and Volunteer Assignment
Hi Stingrays,
We hope you had a nice 4th and are ready to get back into the swing of practice!!!! We have one of our biggest meets of the season coming up so let's get pumped for ECI!!!! But first, a little business with a lost necklace....
Lost Gold Necklace
- Grady Hallgren (11/12) lost a gold necklace on the pool deck during practice. If your swimmer picked it up with the intent to turn it in to the lost and found, please return it to Grady. Thanks!

- Volunteer Assignments
- All timing assignments are in Lane 4 (Recorder) and Lane 7 (Stop Watch). Make sure you go to your assigned lane AND make sure the person you relieve is a Stingray parent.
- Upon arriving at team camp, please check in with Jill Magno or Jennifer Smith ASAP (please do not make us go find you....it is much easier for you to find one of us in our tents than for us to hunt down individual families). You must check in to verify that you are there, that you know which lane you are going to, and you know what time your shift is at.
- Failure to check in for or fulfill your volunteer shift will result in your credit card on file being charged $150.
- Here are the volunteer assignments.
- Stroke and Turn Judges
- We have 3 one hour shifts per day that must be covered. The shifts are:
- 9:00-10:00 Lanes 5/6

- We have 3 one hour shifts per day that must be covered. The shifts are:
- Zoom Photography
- If you have ever tried to get great action shots of your swimmer with your phone, you have probably been disappointed. Zoom Photography will be at ECI taking photos again this year. From personal experience, I can say it was a worthwhile investment last year. Here is the Zoom Photography link to register your swimmer if you are interested. 100% of your deposit will go towards pictures purchased, so register your swimmer with Zoom for as many events as possible (it costs more for more events, but you get it all back after the fact when you order your pictures; the more events they photograph, the more photos you will have to select from to purchase).
