Hi Team,

 

You will be getting many NewsSplashes as we head into the last few weeks of our season, so please read them carefully so you do not miss deadlines or important updates.

 

Important Deadlines

  • TODAY, Wednesday, July 7th:  Deadline to register for the Pleasant Hill Dolphins Meet held on Wednesday, July 16th.  Note that this meet will take place at College Park High School (not the Middle School where it is normally held)
  • Friday, July 11th:  Deadline to register for League Meet.  We want ALL Stingrays to compete at this meet.  This is a FIRM deadline.  Absolutely no late adds are allowed. 
  • Saturday, July 12th:  Deadline to register for the home meet vs Crockett held on Saturday, July 19th.  

 

Private Lessons With The Coaches Raffle

  • Remember to purchase your tickets for the raffle for a chance to win private lessons with either Coach Steve or Coach Miguel. 
  • Tickets may be purchased from the snack bar.  The drawing this Friday, July 11th will be for lessons on Wednesday, July 16th.  
  • Tickets purchased next week will be for private lessons on Wednesday, July 23rd.  

 

League Meet Power Breakfast

  • One of the fun aspects of League Meet is our Power Breakfast!  This is a team pot luck that fuels the swimmers through much of the meet.  Please sign up to donate an item or two at our Sign Up Genius.  
  • The breakfast tables are set up at the front of our team camp and is always a big hit with the athletes.

 

Pizza Friday!!!

  • What's for lunch on Friday???  Pizza!  Visit our snack bar between 10:00am and 12:00pm for a $4 slice of pizza!!!

 

Lapapalooza Prizes​

  • If your swimmer turned in their prize claim form on time, visit Jeanne Woodford or Andrea Meaders on the pool deck this week to pick up their hard-earned prize!
  • If your swimmer has not turned in their prize claim form, visit Jeanne or Andrea to arrange for a prize!  

 

Hox Last Chance Meet

  • Your swimmer can't get enough of swim meets?  Your swimmer is super close to a County time and wants one more shot?  Then the Hox Last Chance Meet is for them!  
  • This is not a Stingray-sponsored meet, but you may independently sign up for this meet if your swimmer wants one last chance to drop time.  We do not have coaches or a Stingray designated camp at this meet.  Parents are responsible for all aspects of registration and organization at the meet.  All registration questions should be directed to the Hox meet itself.
