Froyo Friday Is Tomorrow and Monster Splash Updates

We have one more week of Fall Swim practice and then it's a wrap!  Great job Stingrays!  Thank you to our coaches, parents, and swimmers for another great year!!!

 

Be on the lookout for updates to the practice schedule for next week when the pool closes at 6:00pm.  The final schedule will be sent out shortly.  

 

Froyo Friday

  • Friday (tomorrow) is our big Rainbow Froyo fundraiser!!  
  • Time:  Noon - 9:00 PM
  • Location  Rainbow Froyo, next to Nation's Burgers
  • Tell all of your friends to order froyo to support the Stingrays.  You must tell the cashier that you are there to support the Stingrays, and 20% of your purchase will be donated to the team.
  • We would like as many Stingrays as possible to show up with signs to support the Stingrays!  If your swimmer can stand outside for an hour or so and spin signs, we will attract a lot more traffic!  
  • Check in with our fundraising coordinator Jeanne Woodward, or any Stingray parents on site, for direction.

 

Monster Splash Invitational

  • Registration Deadline
    • ​The deadline to register for the Monster Splash Invitational is Sunday, October 19th.  
    • Remember that ANY Stingray can register.   Your swimmer does not need to be registered for Fall Swim to participate in the fun!  
  • Volunteer Jobs
    • ​Volunteer jobs will be assigned next week, once we have the final numbers.  All participating families will have a volunteer job.
  • Schedule
    • The schedule will be available soon (again, waiting for final numbers)
    • Warmups will likely begin around 8:30 or so.  ​
    • The meet will be about the size of a regular dual meet, so it should not be an all-day event
  • Snack Bar, Merchandise, and Fun​
    • Bring cash or credit!  We will accept both for the snack bar and other fun events!
    • Pumpkin Decorating:  Bring your creative side to decorate a pumpkin!  $6 per pumpkin
    • Rubber Ducky Race:  Ducks cost $10 each.  The winner of the duck race wins half of the pot (minus $100 to cover the cost of the ducks).  This means you could win up to $250!!!
    • Merchandise:  Pick up your pre-ordered Monster Splash gear at the merchandise table.  We will also have a very limited number of items available for purchase if you missed the pre-order window.  
    • Goody Bags:  Make sure each registered swimmer grabs a goody bag as they enter the pool deck.  They will be near the picnic tables as you walk by the diving pool.
