*Important* Stroke and Turn Clinic Updates, 6/under Shepherds Needed

Two quick, but important, updates

 

Stroke and Turn Clinics

  • American Canyon's pool is down.  There is a new location and time for our League's Stroke and Turn Clinic (same date)
  • Location:  Pinole Seals Pool, 2450 Simas Avenue,  Pinole
  • Time: Saturday, April 25th from 8:00-10:30 AM​

 

  • Don't forget you can also attend the clinic on Monday, April 27th
    • Contra Costa County Training at The Greenery Restaurant in Walnut Creek (Across from Heather Farms' Pool)
    • Monday, April 27th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm in The Greenery Banquet Room
    • Led by the head stroke and turn committee from County Championship Meet

 

6/Under Shepherds

  • ​Janis, one of our 6/under Boys' Shepherds, has graciously stepped up to be our meet starter.
  • This is great (thank you Janis!!!!)  But now we need a new 6/under Boys' Shepherd.  AND we still need a 6/under Girls' Shepherd. This is a core role and will fulfill your entire volunteer requirement for the season (except for invitationals and League Champs)
  • If you have a 6/under, this is the perfect job for you because you need to be with your kid for the duration of the meet anyway!  
  • The shepherd is responsible for having the 6/unders delivered to them by the parents at the designated meet-up spot and guiding the swimmers to their correct lane for their meet events.  
  • If you have been on the team for more than one year, you know how to do this role, and you know how critical it is. This is a vital role for this age group, so please step up and volunteer!
