Quick Season Updates: Time Trials Registration and Spirit Wear Order Reminder!

Time Trials and Registration Deadlines

  • Time Trials is our first meet of the season and it is quickly approaching!!  This meet involves only Stingrays (no opposing team).
  • All swimmers should participate to get out their first meet jitters.  New families:  it is even more important that you participate so that you can learn how to fulfill your volunteer job, how to set up in team camp, how warmups work, how to read a meet sheet.  Meets are loud and busy, so it is important for younger Stingrays to experience this before the bulk of the season begins!  
  • Time Trials gives swimmers their base times for the season in all individual events.  We do not swim relays at Time Trials.
  • You MUST commit your swimmers to meets that they wish to participate in.  It is critical that registration deadlines are met.  It is challenging to add swimmers after the meet roster has been set.  The deadline for all regular meets is one week before the actual event.  The deadline for Time Trials registration is Saturday, May 9th.
  • To register for Time Trials and all dual meets (Wednesday afternoon meets and regular Saturday morning meets), you will go through the Stingray website.  Invitationals have separate instructions and registration fees that will be splashed out as the event nears.  
  • Registration Steps
    • First SIGN IN TO THE WEBSITE!!!!
    • Click on the “Events & Meets” tab at the top of the webpage--note you must actually click on "Events and Meets" so that the calendar opens up.  You can not register from the drop down menu that shows up when you hover on the tab.
    • Find the event/meet you want to register for.  Click on the "Edit Commitment" button for the meet/event you want to commit to.
    • Click on the name of your swimmer.  If you have multiple swimmers, each swimmer must be registered for separately.
    • Select whether your swimmer will or will not attend the meet.  
    • Don't forget to hit "Save" at the end!!
  • If you miss a registration deadline, we may not be able to add your swimmer to the meet lineup.  
  • If you know your summer schedule, it is suggested to go through all of our meets and commit or opt out now, so you don't miss any deadlines!  
  • We also have a few job shifts available for Time Trials.  If you have not signed up for a job yet, visit the website to sign up one of your four required meet shifts!  

 

Spirit Wear Deadline

  • Don't forget to visit our Spirit Wear Store to order your team gear for the summer. This is the only order period for the season so don't miss out!  
  • The store closes on Wednesday, May 6th.
