Awards Ceremony Help Needed, Unfulfilled Volunteer Shifts, Second New 10/under Fall Swim Tryouts are this Wednesday

New 10/Unders Fall Swim Tryouts

  • Wednesday, August 26th, at 5:00pm is the last chance for your new 10/under swimmer to try out for Fall Swim.  You do not need to attend if you came on August 17th.  We do not require new 11/up swimmers to attend tryouts.  Please arrive on time to the James Lemos lap swim pool for tryouts. Remember that if your swimmer does not pass tryouts, we will refund you their full registration fee (minus a $25 credit card processsing fee).  This is the only scenario in which we will offer a refund for Fall Swim registration.  

 

Awards Ceremony and Volunteer Shifts

  • Our annual Awards Ceremony is this Sunday, August 30th, from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM.  Please come and celebrate your swimmer; our coaches; and you, the parents, for the huge commitment and accomplishment that is a swim season!  
  • We still need many helpers to make this Awards Ceremony a success.  This is your last chance this season to fulfill your volunteer requirements.  If you still have unfulfilled meet or social volunteer shifts, you can earn that credit by working a shift or shifts at the Awards Ceremony!  Please sign up if you need shifts, or if you are just awesome and are willing to help out. 
  • As always, if you sign up for a shift and no show, we will bill $150 to the credit card we  have on file. 
  • If you would like to contribute a savory snackatizer to the ceremony, please visit our Signup Genius  to donate a food item.  Please remember no peanuts, nuts, or nut butters.  Thank you!

 

Unfulfilled Volunteer Shifts For The Season

  • Your season volunteer requirement is to work 4 meets and 2 social jobs.  If you worked any combination of 6 jobs (meet and social), we will count it!
  • After the Awards Ceremony, our volunteer coordinators will consolidate all of your jobs.  
  • If you have missing shifts, you will receive an email notifying you.  After this, we will bill the credit card on file $100 per missed shift PLUS the $150 volunteer deposit.  
  • Again, you can fulfill missed shifts by signing up for open jobs at the Awards Ceremony!
