That's a wrap on Spring/Summer swim season, and now it's time to get Fall Swim going! It was great seeing such a turnout at our Awards Ceremony. Thank you to all the families who donated food to our spread, with a special thank you to Lolo and Grandma Ambrose, who supplied their annual trays and trays of lumpia for the entire team to enjoy! And a special thank you to our coaches for making this season happen as we three-peated as League Champions!!!

New Open Board Position
- We are now recruiting for a 4th board position (League Rep). Remember that serving on the board fulfills your entire volunteer requirement for the season (outside of invitationals, League Champs, and County Champs, where ALL families must volunteer). Serving on the board requires attendance at year-round monthly meetings (usually at 6:30 PM) and gives you a vote in everything worth voting for! In addition, you have duties specific to your role:
- League Rep (NEW!): Our League Rep represents the Stingrays at the monthly Tri-County League meetings with Pinole, Ahi, Crockett, and Hercules. During the week of League Champs, meetings are more frequent (weekly). The League Rep's biggest role is making League Meet happen! They also oversee the 5 teams in our league, schedule our meets, vote on League issues, etc. You would replace our outgoing co-League Rep, Chris Roldan, and work closely with our current co-League Rep, Christina Mills-Gelardin.
- Social Director: With the guidance of the board, you will plan and execute our parties and fun events!
- Invitational Coordinator: Work closely with Coach Steve to manage invitational registration, fees, volunteer assignments, disbursement of awards, etc. If you take this role, Jennifer Smith and Jill Magno can help you get your bearings in your first year. We have both done it, and it isn't that bad! You need to be detail-oriented and attend most invitational meets.
- Communication Director: Work closely with the entire board and coaches. You will get to know every single board member and coach very well! Compose and send out NewsSplashes, maintain the website, answer emails from membership, etc. Work with Jill Magno next year and take over in 2028.
